 Its discovered in the tomb of tutankhamun (reigned c 1334_1325 bc) a pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty of ancient egypt in the valley of the kings ( Egypt) which became famous for the wealth of treasure it contained . The tomb was discovered in November 4,1922 by Howard Carter، It is a box for storing ornaments and jewelry, and inside it was found a collection of King Tutankhamun’s belongings, such as nekhekh ,hecat, mirror case in form of ankh and rings ,earrings 

The body is take the cartouche form which is made of kind of redwood veneered with ebony,with knobs of ebony , and around the sides of the box are three horizontal lines of text containing  the king protocol these  inscriptions painted with blue pigment

The cover was made in the shape of the king’s cartouche, and was engraved inside it: “Tutankhamun is truly Ionu Shama,” meaning Tutankhamun, the ruler of southern Ionu, which means the city of Thebes.

 coincidental that the word “Iono” was represented by the colors of the current Egyptian flag, red, white, and black
